Are you clear on your values?

I am always amazed how sometimes similar stuff keeps showing up in life. Maybe it is because we are looking for it. But, it is welcome nevertheless.

Today, every meeting and gathering I have been to seems to come around to the topic of values.

Roy E. Disney of Walt Disney Co. said, "When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier."

I love that. Clarity of values makes life simpler. And hopefully, that means that you'll get where you want, and need to be, a little (or a lot) quicker.

What are your values? And, I mean Your values. Not the ones you think other people would like to hear you say.

Then think about how you spend your time and resources. Does this reflect your values. Looking at your calendar and where you spend money gives an accurate glimpse into what you value.

So, as you are faced with decisions, use your values to help you determine what to do. Making values-based decisions sends a solid message to those around you about the character.

What do you think? I’d love to hear from you. I can be reached here and on LinkedIn.
